All Change for the Partners at Scott Richards!
Sue Dayment, who is one of the Partners at Scott Richards, first joined the firm in 2000. We regret to announce that Sue has decided that the time has come for her to move into a new chapter in her life. Sue will be leaving us at the end of March and moving away from the Devon area. Sue leaves with our heartfelt thanks for all her hard work and commitment to growing the firm over the time she has been with us and our very best wishes for the future. Sue’s expertise and professionalism will be missed by all of those she dealt with, not only within Scott Richards, but also the numerous external companies and clients she has worked with over the years.
Now for the good news! As a result of Sue’s decision and in order to continue our commitment to develop the firm, Scott Richards have promoted two existing Solicitors to the role of Partner.
Sarah Forte is an experienced family Solicitor, having practised at firms in Oxford and South Devon before joining Scott Richards in January 2016. Sarah undertakes both privately paying and publicly funded work. Her main areas of expertise include divorce and financial proceedings, advising unmarried couples including drafting cohabitation and separation agreements, drafting pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements, representing parents and grandparents in disputes regarding the arrangements for children and domestic abuse cases.
Adam Clinch-Othman is an experienced Solicitor specialising in residential conveyancing. He joined the firm in February 2017. Adam has honed his skills at high street offices in Honiton and Exmouth, rising through their ranks to become a Partner. Adam handles a wide range of property transactions including buying and selling houses and flats, transfers of equity, re-mortgages and lease extensions.
Paul Dyson, the Senior Partner says “We are delighted to recognise the contribution that Sarah and Adam have both made since joining the firm by asking them to become Partners. Their knowledge and experience, together with their sensitive and pragmatic approach, made them the ideal candidates to help us grow the firm and ensure we continue to deliver an excellent service to our clients, both now and in the future.”
